Halloween-Eagle Rock 2019

I had the chance to decorate my front yard for Halloween this year.

I am glad that people decorate their houses for Halloween, but it does seem that people are just buying things at the big box stores and then putting them on their lawn in a haphazard manner. So even though it’s festive, it comes off a bit lazy.

If this is my criticism, then what is my solution? Well, this year I did what most people do and I bought some Halloween decorations in the form of plastic skeletons. Then I added texture to them and painted them so they would at least have some artistry to them.

I also secured everything in position with stakes and wire. Last year there was a storm a few days before Halloween and it blew decorations all over the road.

The final element was the lighting. I bought some plug-in garden lights for the yard, but then I put colored filters on them so they would create an atmosphere.
